Youth Group Overview

It is the Saint Joseph Youth Group's mission to help keep our parish's high school aged members inspired in their Catholic Faith.

The Saint Joseph Youth Group is open to all High School aged members of our parish who have fulfilled their Confirmation into the Catholic Faith.

Currently the Saint Joseph Youth Group is represented by students attending Immaculate, Brookfield, Newtown, New Milford and Shepaug Valley High Schools.

With a strong basis of teaching the Christian way of life with the help of LifeTeen programs, the Saint Joseph Youth Group attempts to help our Catholic youth become a more visible presence within our parish and our community. Showing our community and parish a group of youth who are proud to put their Catholic faith to task, and are ready to put their Christian values to good use with mission programs within and outside of our parish area.

The Saint Joseph Youth Group which was started in March of 2008 has been growing stronger every day, and with the wonderful support and prayers of our parish and our parish staff.

The Saint Joseph Youth Group will continue to spread the word and values of our lord, Jesus Christ for many years to come.

PS – ICTHUS is the Greek Word for "Fish" and the first letter represents the word Jesus, second letter is Christ, the next two letters are God Son, and the fifth letter is Savior – thus the five letters add up to "Jesus Christ is God's Son, the Savior"
